He is an exhibiting artists, participating in various exhibitions throughout the Southeast. His work is represented in many collections including museums, corporate and private thrhoughout the U.S. He recently received and Individual Artist Fellowship from the Alabama State Council on the Arts. The Exhibition runs from February 2nd through February 26. IWCAT stand for The International Workshop of Ceramic Art in Tokoname - Japan. This prestigious event is in it's 25 year. Dr. Greenman will be living with a host family while participating in this 6 week workshop which will include; visiting local ceramic artists studios; demonstrations of local techniques, work and firing in one of the historic kilns, lectures on Japanese Culture, and field study tours. The performance was reviewed by Jerry Young (University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire) in the Fall 2008 ITEA journal. Mr. Ford was accepted at the Arts Institute of San Francisco, but will be starting off his graduate academic career at the east coast affiliate, Art Institute of Pennsylvania, before transferring to the San Francisco campus this spring or summer. Participants designed and created individual art pieces using oxyacetylene units to cut the metal and then assemble the pieces using an arc welder.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;Stephen Cappelli:&lt;br /&gt;Exhibited in the "&lt;strong&gt;Exhibition 1000 Pounds of Alabama Clay"&lt;/strong&gt; This year a record number of 170 students from throughout the Southeast will attend and bring their musical talents to the ASU campus. The weekend will feature a concert by the ASU Wind Ensemble on Friday night, followed by a weekend full of rehearsals and master classes, and ending with a gala concert on Sunday afternoon by all of the participants.
